Questions about the game
I am looking to buy guild wars and I am wondering if anyone still plays online? Is the pvp still popular? Can you have guild vs guild pvp?
Can people outline the goods and bads of each class and the game too? |

Dervish Bombs are not a class.
Dervishes are a class, the use scythes far more effectively that these "Bombs" you speak of. While they are underpowered compared to other classes at the moment, it certainly won't make you fail the game or anything. Question1: Yes Question2: Take a look at the profession specific forums and read up there. Also just give each class a play if you get the game, there is no penalty for deleting a character - decide what you like to play the most. |

to me, the beauty of GW is the general equality of all the clases. Each individual class and the many combinations are pretty easily playable. Each plays its own role, so you cant really say they have disadvantages, they all just serve a different purpose. It's all about personal preference.

1. yes people still play guild wars. not as many as when it first released but still a fair amount
2. pvp is still popular, but there are dead hours where people don't really play and it's tougher getting a match 3. see above for dead hours. lolworthy wannabe nuker. |

Depends on what you consider PvP. Random Arenas is popular, Fort Aspenwood and Jade Quarry are also fairly popular. Team Arenas/Hero Battles is being removed in favor of a popular format called "Sealed Deck". Hero's Ascent (8v8) on the other hand is dying and it's hard to pug. If at this point in time you don't have a rank or a decent guild with people who are willing to form, you're probably not going to get far. Guild vs Guild is still semi popular I guess. You have to play at certain times to get matches. It's slowly dying though and again, unless you have a guild or a group of friends to play you're probably not going to get far. |

Yes I do.
Dervish is the class, Dervish Bomb is the style of play/build. The person you replied to mentioned class, you said "Dervish Bomb" a Dervish Bomb is not a class, just as a WoH Monk is not a class. They are playstyles/builds. |
